Warning: Read this before entering the Haunted Hike
By entering the haunted hike, you agree that you have read your ticket and all other posted warning and you agree to accept the inherent risks and dangers associated therewith and to fully release and indemnify the owners and operators of the haunted hike, the property owner, Boy Scouts of America as well as the volunteers, adult leaders and Samoset Council from any liability or claim including, but not limited to, negligence.
Your ticket is a revocable license and may be taken and admission refused upon refund or purchase price. The ticket holder understands that there are inherent risks when participating in an event such as escape crystal lake and voluntarily and knowingly assumes all risks and dangers associated therewith. Those inherent risks may include, but are not limited to, falling, sliding, tripping, the risks of being exposed to smoke, fog, uneven ground, dark and poorly lit passages, trails and roads, tight and cramped areas, dimly lit, uneven and narrow walkways, darkness, loud noises, electrical shock, bright lights, sudden and alarming surprises and shocks, the sensation of being trapped or confined, physical contact by actors, coming into or contact with moving objects, ripped or torn clothing, slivers and cuts, and all other risks including serious injury and death. The ticket holder agrees to indemnify the aforesaid parties from any expense, including attorney’s fees, resulting from your entry into and participation in any of the escape crystal lake events. Children under 12 will not be admitted without a legal guardian. Patrons may exit the events at any time. The haunted hike may not be appropriate for children - parents use discretion!
Do not enter the haunted hike if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, seizures, or any type of mental, physical, respiratory or medical problems, if you are pregnant, or suffer from any mental disease including claustrophobia. Also, do not enter if you are intoxicated, using any drugs, are wearing a cast or medical brace, are using crutches, are in a wheelchair or mobile device, or if you suffer from any type of handicap or physical limitations whatsoever. You will not be admitted if any of these conditions are suspected by our staff.
